Manage Seed Applications

Project Goals

• Simplify seed data entry by streamlining web pages and minimizing the need for button clicks, reducing complexity in the process.
• Integrate the seed and treatment catalog with 'Seed Actual' records to streamline the process of entering costs.
• Simplify the process of assigning batches to entire fields to reduce the reliance on Whole Field Web Entry.

Manage Seed Applications Page Features

• Eliminated the left-hand 'Plan' section on the Manage Seed Applications page to maximize screen space.
• Additional filtering capabilities (crop, field, variety, seed treatment)
• Filter by fields that do not have any applications to conveniently create whole field applications.

• Combined the three separate Batch Assign sections into one streamlined feature.
• Users can now use a checkbox to batch assign multiple seed treatments, rates, and dates, regardless of variety or field. Previously, this feature only allowed the assignment of seed treatment to a single variety at a time.

• The seed catalog, which includes products and pricing, is now synchronized with the Seed Application page.

• Checkbox for seed rate or plant date on manual entries as a safety measure to prevent unintentionally overwriting the existing as-applied data.
  
• Reverting will delete any custom data entered and restore the original as-applied data.

Seed Catalog Features

• Costs entered in the seed and treatments catalog are now automatically saved to Actuals, including planting data, and will be visible in field reports and queries.
