We’ve added a progress indicator at the field level for variable rate nutrient prescriptions in order to eliminate the need to wait, wonder, and constantly click ‘Get Fields.’
How it Works
Pick Equations Button
When the user clicks the “Pick Equations” button and combination of selected fields is greater than the 250 acre limits, then the user sees this warning
Calculate Button
When the user clicks the “Calculate” button and combination of selected fields is greater than the 250 acre limits, then the user sees this warning
OK Button
When the clicks the “OK” button, they are directed back to the Prescriptions page
For the recommendations calculating offline, the user will see the progress spinner while the calculations are either in a state of waiting to calculate or calculating.
Spinner on the Prescriptions Page
If the user hovers over the spinner it will show the status and when the status was last updated.
When the recommendation is is queued for calculating, it will have this message
When the recommendation is calculating, it will have this message.
When the recommendation is done calculating, then the spinner goes away and the recommendation appears.
Frequency of Status Update
The Prescriptions page has a timer that executes every 5 seconds and checks for updates on the status and time.
